Well the Jr Aeros matches seem to indicate that Brown, Cornell and Harvard
have maintained their relative positions.  Obviously only regular season
games will tell for sure.  Minnesota played its first game and blitzed
Augsburg 8-0 at Mariucci before almost 7000 people chanting: Minn-e-so-ta!
What a great start for the Gopher Women!  Mankato State continues to
impress in the Midwest Alliance with a couple of big wins.
 
This coming weekend, ECAC League action gets underway as Princeton and
Yale host Cornell and St Lawrence.  Those are rather important opening
matches as we will see whether Cornell or Princeton is on song early.
Yale and St Lawrence, with developing programs, also get to test where
they are.  The ECAC League jumps into a full slate of action the weekend
of Nov 15th.  The All-American tournament starts on Thursday and continues
through Sunday.  We'll get to see how first-year team Minnesota does
against ECAC League squads from Harvard and UNH.
