ECAC/Bauer Player of the Week
 
Vinnie Auger, Cornell
Senior, Left Wing (Anc-Lorette, Quebec)
        Auger helped the two-time defending ECAC Tournament champions to a
season-opening victory over Hockey East foe Northeastern as he had a hand
in the Big Reds last three goals, all in the third period, as Cornell
fought back from a 2-1 deficit.  He assisted on the game-tying goal,
scored the game-winner and tallied an empty-netter for insurance.
 
ECAC/Bauer Rookie of the Week
 
Andreas Moborg, Vermont
Defenseman (Mantorp, Sweden)
        Moborg had a hand in all three goals in the Catamounts 3-2 win at
Lake Superior State as he scored once and tallied a pair of assists.  He
picked up two more assists the following night and finished the weekend
with a goal and four assists for five points.
 
ECAC/Heaton Goaltender of the Week
 
Erasmo Saltarelli, Princeton
Senior (Montreal, Quebec)
        Saltarelli led the Tigers to a pair of season-opening wins at
Nebraska-Omaha as he turned aside 26 shots in a 5-2 win and another 32
shots in a 5-3 victory, giving him 58 saves in the two games.  In the 5-2
victory Salterelli made 13 saves in the final period to secure the win.
