Scores and highlights from the weekend in the ECAC West.
 
Friday, December 6, 1991
 
BROCKPORT 7, Geneseo 4:  Bill Reichard had one goal and two assists to
lead Brockport (4-5) over Geneseo (5-3-1).  Lance Ess also contributed
a goal and an assist for Brockport.  The game was Brockport's first
victory over the Geneseo Ice Knights in seven tries back to the
1987-'88 season.
 
CORTLAND 5, St. Bonaventure 0:  Cortland goalie Mike Germain (brother of
former RIT and Geneseo goalie Lou Germain) recorded the shutout for the
Red Raiders (7-2) over St. Bonaventure (3-7).  Ken McCabe scored two
goals and an assist for Cortland.
 
RIT 7, Hobart 4:  Tom Masaschi and Scott MacNair each had a two goals
and an assist and Jay Murphy added a goal and two assists for the RIT
Tigers (6-3) in a penalty-filled game.  Brian Watts had two goals and
an assists for the Hobart Statesmen (3-6).  Freshman goalie Derrick
Barnett extended his record to 6-2 for the Tigers.
 
Saturday, December 7, 1991
 
Hobart 7, ST. BONAVENTURE 2:  Brian Watts scores the hat trick for the
Statesmen (4-6) in their victory over St. Bonaventure (3-8).
 
Brockport 10, BINGHAMTON 1: Lance Ess scored one goals and two assists
and Chris Hildreth and Brian Dehlinger each had two goals for the
Golden Eagles of Brockport (5-5).  Binghamton is now 2-9.

Middlebury 4, Hamilton 3
 
Sunday, December 8, 1991
 
RIT 5, MERCYHURST 4:  RIT (7-3) survived a third-period rally and
ruined the opening of Mercyhurst's new Ice Center by beating the
Lakers (6-9).  RIT Captain Tom Masaschi had another strong game with
two goals and an assist.  Scott Martin also contributed the go-ahead
goal and an assist for the Tigers.
