I must say I was not surprised by Toby and Ian's decision.  I also live in
Bloomington and I saw Toby 2 weeks ago.  He seemed very enthusiastic about
CC, and couldn't really say enough good things about it.  Comparing it to
Wisconsin and Minnesota, I would say he definitely put CC in the drivers seat.
 
One thing I disagreed with in the original post about this subject was the
pressure he supposedly felt from family and friends to attend Minnesota.
Both the gentlemen and I that spoke to Toby felt that he should go where he
felt most comfortable, even though we naturally would like to see him go the
U of Minnesota.
 
Despite being a gopher fan, I am glad that Toby and Ian made the decision
they wanted to make, and not the one everyone else wanted them to make.
