Since the LSSU weekend games, UM has played its best hockey of the season.
They played weak teams in January and February (except for 2 single games)
and beat these teams something like 8-1 every game (I'm exagerrating a
little, but not much). These games get to be pretty boring and I think the
team got a little bored by it too. I feel that they were a little too
confident of themselves before the LSSU series and I also feel that LSSU
knows how to pace itself during the season to peak at the end. There was
much more at stake for LSSU and they beat our butts. As you brought up, this
series might have been the season-making weekend for the wolverines.

If they come out on Saturday like they've been coming out the last several
games, then UM will beat CC. Speaking from the experience of last year when
Maine lost to BU after Maine's triple OT win, CC will probably be mentally
and physically tired. UM seems to be reaching its peak performance of the
year and it will be very hard to stop them.
