Orono, WMEB released it's first hockey poll today:
 
1. Maine (8)
2. Michigan (2)
3. Northern Michigan
4. Clarkson
5. Providence
6. Minnesota
7. North Dakota
8. Lake Superior State
9. Boston University
10. Bowling Green
 
P.S. Last night Team Canada blew away the Maine Black Bears 7-1
     before about 4,000 at the Central Maine Civic Center in Lewiston.
     The Canadian goalie (disgruntled NJ Devil Sean Burke) was superb,
     while while Maine's young defense frequently blew coverage in front
     of the net.
