COMMENTARY
Clarkson showed up in the second period and the last few minutes
of the third, but that was about it; end of story.

Don't let the shots deceive you, both Dan Murphy of Clarkson
and James Konte of Princeton were fabulous in net. There may not
have been that many chances but a lot of the chances were high
quality shots.

Princeton played a smart game, slowing down the Knights in the
neutral zone and preventing them from getting a jump in their
step.

Basically, Princeton won the game because they wanted it more.
They deserved to win.

Unfortunately for the Tigers, forward Ian Sharp, who was recently
named ECAC defensive forward of the year, suffered what looked
to be a fairly serious leg or knee injury late in the game. He
was tied up with a Clarkson player who fell right on Sharp's
leg, perhaps his knee. From looking at the replays, if Sharp
suffered anything less than a broken leg, he is quite fortunate;
it wasn't pretty. Although they didn't need to take him off on
a stretcher, which was a good sign.
