Is there any doubt NOW that BG's Brian Holzinger
is a legit Hobey Baker Candiate? He had all 3 BGSU
goals vs. Wisconsin, one shorthanded, one even
stength, one power play. He leads the nation in
scoring and is near the top in goals with 18. Those
people who put together those pre-season lists of
Hobey candidates should be ashamed of themselves.

If anyone else would have put the puck in the net
for BG last night, the Falcons would have won easily.
Will Clarke did do his job in goal, with 35 saves, many
of them spectacular. BG has been winning by getting its
scoring from many different players. Hopefully the rest
of the team wil show up vs. Northeastern.

BTW, the power plays were 4-1 UW in the first period,
but then the refs settled down and allowed the game to
get better.

Also, the first OT was only 5 minutes long, so the game
lasted 68:43 officially.
