Attendance is way up at Tully Forum, home of the UMass-Lowell RiverHawks.
This has marked a significant progression in the last couple years to the point
where there have been several virtual sellouts.  Of course, attendance a couple
years ago was so pitiful that it could only improve.  Old timers complain that
you can no longer show up at game time and get a seat at center ice.
 
At ~3000 capacity Tully is a long way from the "big" arenas, but Coach Crowder
et al have worked hard to make fan attendance "big time".  I have concerns
that if the proposed arena goes in, we could have an 8000 seat arena with a
boatload of empty seats, but that's another issue...
