It was noted that the BGSU Ice Arena can't match up to the Munn arena,
which leads me to feel that a note of clearification is in order.

I was not saying that the Ice Arena is as modern or as flashy as the
Munn. Rather I ment only that the BGSU Ice Arena, taken on whole, is as
good a facility as any. The paint isn't as new as in other arenas, and
you can tell it was built in the 60s, but it is as fine a facility as you
can find. The Munn is a great place, even I love it, no denying it is a
fine place to play hockey and such. I can appreciate a fine facility as
much as the next person. But I do think that the Ice Arena ranks up
higher than the middle to lower echelon of CCHA arenas. Notre Dame, Kent
(RIP), OSU, among others are places I would rank below us frankly.
Besides the Ice Arena has a life and atmosphere all it's own. It tends
to endear the place to some of us.
