None taken...but Andrew was actually referring to the game played at
RPI at the beginning of the 1993-94 season.  Merrimack won that one,
4-2.
 
I don't believe RPI was "expected" to win the game this year at
Merrimack, and in fact it was a relatively close game, with RPI
scoring to break a 1-1 tie with 5 minutes left.
 
To add fuel to the fire, the teams will meet again in the first round
of the RPI Invitational on Dec 29.  It should be interesting since
Merrimack has historically played well against RPI, including a 2-0
shutout in the 1987 Invitational.  RPI won the last Invitational
meeting, 6-3 in 1989.
