CCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Jason Botterill, a sophomore left wing from
the University of Michigan, has been selected CCHA Offensive Player of the Week
for his performance the weekend of November 4-5, 1994.  He played hockey for
St. Paul's (NH) Prep before enrolling at Michigan.  He was a first round
selection by the the Dallas Stars in the June 1994 National Hockey League entry
draft.
 
Botterill, a 6-4, 209-pound native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, had five points
(three goals, two assists) in the Wolverines victory over Ohio State on Friday.
He scored the first two goals of the game, and assisted on Michigan's third and
fourth markers.  Botterill completed his hat trick  late in the second period.
 
CCHA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Shannon Finn, a senior defenseman from the
University of Illinois @ Chicago, has been selected CCHA Defensive Player of
the Week for the weekend of November 4-5, 1994.  He played junior hockey for
the Bramalea Blues and was taken by Philadelphia  in the June 1993 Supplemental
Draft.
 
Finn, a 6-2, 190-pound native of Brampton, Ontario, led the Flames defense
which limited Notre Dame to one power play goal in 17 opportunities in UIC's
sweep of the Fighting Irish.  He finished the weekend with a plus/minus total
of +3, while scoring one goal on Friday and recording two assists on Saturday
(one while UIC was shorthanded).
