The International Ice Hockey Federation WOrld Junior Championships will
draw 10 teams from around the world and open Dec. 26, 1995. Medal games
are scheduled at Boston College's Conte Forum on Jan 4, 1996. Semifinals
are slated for Jan 3 at Northeastern's Matthews Arena and the University
of Massachusetts' Mullins Center.
According to Baaron Pettenger, president of the Massachusetts Sports
Partnership, preliminary hockey games would be played at Mullins, Conte
and three locations in Worcester, MA - the Centrum, the Hart Center and
the New England Sports Center.
