The reason why people hold the Hockey East in higher regards than the ECAC has
a lot to do with TV.  In order to improve the ECAC the hockey games need to get
 on television.  Look during the hockey season at the TV listings for College
hockey its all Hockey East games!  Get with it ECAC and get some publisity.
RPI is thinking of leaving the ECAC for this reason.  You have a great
conference lets make it even better.
