Steve,
You're right.  In the first few years of the HEA, they
played an interlock with the WCHA.  I thought it was
dropped because of the NCAA restriction on game
#'s.
 
Speaking of number of games allowed.  What is the
NCAA regular season max and does the ECAC have
a lesser number?  I do remember hearing that the
ECAC counted Alaska games while the NCAA does
not.
