The main reason for Lacrosse over Hockey is money (surprise!)  It is
cheaper to start Lacrosse than Hockey.  The theory is regional schools are
going to need to add more women's sports  for Title IX and Lacrosse would
be a quick and easy fix.  Lacrosse is not for certian yet.  They are going
to vote on it again after doing more research.  Penn State is the only Big
Ten school I know of with women's Lacrosse.  I hope they drop lacrosse and
upgrade women's hockey.  They could play at the Great Dane after the men's
team moves to the Kohliseum (or Herbie's Hockey Heaven :-} ).
