I can give two examples of collegians who "really made it big" in
the NHL before Taylor and Berenson:
1. Bill Masterton, Denver
2. Ken Dryden, Cornell
I'd say Dryden ranks a little higher in the "legend" category than
Masterton, but then the latter has an award named after him.
