SSS Programs,
Here is your opportunity to try something new with new money! The Lumina
Foundation has given a grant to Adult Diploma Attainment Partnership (ADAP)
now using the name Maine Adult Promise (MAP) to help adults, 25 and older,
succeed in college. This is a partnership opportunity grant for $10,000.
The pilots can be anywhere in Maine, but the committee is targeting
agencies in Aroostook & Androscoggin counties in our outreach efforts.
A successful program has the opportunity to garner additional funds the
following year. This is a 3 year project and the proposal is only 5-10
pages. The official launch of this program is tomorrow at the Educate
Maine Symposium.
