Otto Breitenbach announced his resignation as Western Collegiate Hockey
Association commissioner effective July 1, 1994.
 
Gopher Note:
 
Gophers sophomore Charlie Wasley will undergo arthroscopic surgery today to
determine the extent of a knee injury he suffered in Sunday's 4-3 hockey
victory over Wisconsin. He will miss this weekend's games against Michigan
Tech.
