Shaw (goalie for Kent) could only make one (1) save in the first period -
 
but, since MSU had only one shot on net, that was sufficient and at the end
of 1 period it was Kent 1 MSU 0.
 
However, MSU came on stronger as the game progressedand ended up winning
5-1  including 3 even strength goals (I haven't been keeping close track,
but this may be a season record - even strength goals are almost unknown
to this team.  Anyway ...
