Ferris "beating Minnesota was not too surprising" State participated in
the Saskatchwan Tournament in Saskatoon before heading to Minneapolis.
All of FSU's games are considered exhibitions because the Bulldogs are
using the NCAA-exception "certified foreign tour" in order to play the
games and the CCHA counts them as exhibitions.

Anyway, here are the scores:

12/26 Saskatchewan 4-3 Toronto
12/27 Toronto 4-2 Alberta
      Ferris 4-3 Sask.
12/28 Alberta 6-2 Ferris
12/29 Ferris 5-2 Sask. (Consolation)
      Alberta 6-1 Toronto (Championship)

Since all four teams finished at 1-1 during the preliminary play, I
guess they went to total goals to determine who advanced to the
championship game and who settled for the consolation. Whatever.
