well, i haven't gotten any messages from hockey-l recently, so i
don't know if jeff or tom has posted last nights results from the
great alaska face off up in fairbanks...this is what i read in teh paper
this morning...
 
bowling green put an end to uaf's nine game winning streak with a score
of 3-2...no more was said
 
in addition, there is now only one undefeated division one team...and
i bet you just can'
                   t figure out who...he he  the black bears topped yale
by a score of 3-1.  kariya scored maine's first two goals in the first
period, and matltby scored yale's only goal between them.  there was no
more scoreing until maine's patrice tardif scored the empty net goal
with 34 second remaining...
 
wow!  i wish i would have been able to make it up there to fairbanks
as it sounds like there were two very very good games!
