HOCKEY TEAM SETS SKATE WITH THE CORSAIRS, HETLAND YOUTH HOCKEY DAY
NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA– The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s hockey team has set two of its annual promotions.
Next Thursday evening, January 24th, the Corsairs will hold their annual Skate with the Corsairs at the Stephan Hetland Memorial Ice Arena. Next Saturday, January 26th, will be Hetland Youth Hockey Day.
Skate with the Corsairs will be held Thursday, January 24th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hetland. UMass Dartmouth hockey coaches and players will conduct their annual clinic for Hetland Youth Hockey Mites and Squirts.
Saturday, January 26th will be Hetland Youth Hockey Day when UMass Dartmouth plays Southern New Hampshire in an Eastern College Athletic Conference Northeast game at 4:30 p.m. at the Hetland Arena. Head Coach John Rolli has announced that all Hetland Youth Hockey players wearing their team jerseys will be admitted to the game free, as guests of UMass Dartmouth hockey.
The Corsairs currently lead the ECAC Northeast with a 6-0-0 record and are 8-4-1 overall. They will return to action when they visit Western New England College Saturday afternoon.
