We are told, of course, that hockey isn't as popular
as other sports. In a way I am happy about that. The
elitist part of me says: “Any sport that appeals to
the masses (usually at a bar and half sloshed) has to
be lame (watch bouncy ball to get my point). But then
it can be inconvenient too when critical games are not
televised for economic reasons (large drunk audience
=$$$$ and small intelligent audience = squat). Oh
well. Can’t see getting a dish at this point but next
time I’ll go to Detroit or, better yet, Chicago.
