That's how I had read it :-) and had replied to Nat in private, but just to let
the rest of Hockey-L know -- the University of Minnesota *is* competitive in
most other sports, both men's and women's. It's just that, for the revenue (and
publicity) producers, the only sport where the Gophers seem to do well is ice
hockey. (Although pituitary-ball looks promising for next year.)
