I know a lot has been made lately of Bob Gaudet and "Brown Hockey", not
knowing Bob personly all I can say is that he is animated behind the bench.
In the past I have felt Brown teams to be chippy, yet there is usually a
fine line between physical and chippy, usually depending on what side of the
rink you sit on. Union tends to also play a physical game of hockey, having
to rely on hard work and mucking to be competative. Since the series started
in '89 I have seen every game in the series and last weekends was the best of
the lot, up and down hockey, not the usual clutch and grab. Entertaining
hockey, usually when these two get together you can count on a long game with
a lot of stoppages. Thought it was worth mentioning in light of all the
recent comments(two players still had to be carried off the ice and two more
left the game, but all were "clean")
