One case comes to mind real clearly.  After a play in the DU crease
Wally came up and took a punch (very clearly a punch attempt) at a MN
player and the ref's just gave him a 2 min roughing.  If I'm not
mistaken, didn't the WCHA decide that they were going to enforce the
fighting rule this year to eliminate this?  I understand the fact
that it was their goalie, but should that exclude him from the rules
that apply to the rest of the team?
 
There were a number of times that there was a cross check after the
whistle by a DU player (couldn't tell you if it was #19 or not, but
he was being kind of thuggish on Sunday).
 
I didn't see the Tech series, but from comments I've heard, it sounds
like they are doing much of the same thing this year.  I don't like
the new fighting rule and think that they went way overboard, but if
they put the rules in, they need to enforce those rules or admit that
they are going to call the games in a certain manner.
