Minor question on the LSSU-Michigan CCHA championship game:

>Lake Superior (#2) 0 0 0 -- 0
>Michigan (#1) 1 1 1 -- 3
>16:18-M-Wiseman 19 (unassisted)

This being the goal that ended LSSU goalie Blaine Lacher's record shutout
streak, I'm kind of curious to hear what he did after it. Did he break his
stick over the crossbar, or take a poke at Wiseman, or ?? :-)

Also, Mike M. writes (on Harvard's ECAC tourney win):

>BTW, this was the first shutout in an ECAC championship game EVER.

Not quite. St. Lawrence beat Clarkson 3-0 in the 1988 ECAC championship
game. As I recall, that was the year Saints goaltender Paul Cohen set a
record by allowing four goals in the ECAC tournament, the fewest ever by an
ECAC goalie who played all his team's tourney games.

(why does my brain insist on maintaining such trivial information??)

Anyway, congrats to the four league tournament winners -- especially Harvard,
who a number of people (myself included) were convinced wouldn't make it past
the semis. On to the NCAAs!
