The "you're not a black hole...you just suck!" cheer I believe originated
at Harvard's Bright Arena. The opening that I am most familiar with is
the one that goes:
"Hey (opposing goalie's first name here), your mother called...
she says you're a sieve..."
Then it continues with the "no, you're not a sieve, you're a funnel,"
and so on down the line.
This cheer has been around for awhile...I remember hearing it during the
1982-83 ECAC Quarterfinals, when RPI played at Harvard...
(the starting RPI goalie in those days was Gerry Fink, so the cheer started,
"Hey Gerry, your mother called..."
