I don't know the answer although I suspect not. All sorts of
illegal things could happen in the case of a goalie being allowed
to serve a minor or being allowed to serve a major without someone
else being in the box with him. There could be two goalies from
one team on the ice at the same time when he leaves the box.
Depending upon where the penalty box door is, the goalie could
be offsides when he leaves the box. (A goalie can't skate into
attacking zone, right?)
