UNH can bring along SEVEN extra players on a road trip?

Perhaps the rule I'm thinking of limiting the size of travel rosters is a WCHA rule? IIRC, teams can only bring 22 or 23 (?) players on a road trip. Every once in a while this gives the visiting team a disadvantage in availability of substitutions on Saturday if there are mass injuries/DQs in a Friday night game. I suppose it might make sense if this is a WCHA-only rule, since the travel distances in the WCHA are so long as to make it to a large extent an airplane-trip league, and this would force all teams to limit travel expenses by not bringing the whole roster.
