Bentley College ended its regular season on a positive note by beating
Army 5-1 at West Point on Friday night and beating Holy Cross (Atlantic
Hockey regular season champion) 1-0 in Watertown on Saturday night. One of
two Bentley seniors, Joey Lovell scored the only goal with about 30
seconds left in the OT, in a closely battled game, with goal tenders Simon
St. Pierre (Bentley) and Ben Conway (Holy Cross) coming up big time and
again in the nets. With the two wins, Bentley moves up to 7th in AH,
avoiding the play-in game for the tournament at West Point next weekend.
My guess is that the AH tournament winner will get to play Maine at the
Verizon Center on March 27th?

Go Falcons!
