As one who proudly wears a USC Hockey t shirt and who has followed club hockey for some time, it seems others may be interested in the ACHA website

Just follow the money to the list of "Paid Teams as of 11-18-02"  Note how many D1 schools play at the D II level.  "The ACHA currently has four divisions - 1, 2, 3, and Women's. With each division, there are National Rankings and a National Championship Tournament."
