Actually, Cornell's record against RPI was 4-2, not 3-2, during this
period. RPI also lost to Cornell by about 9-0 in the Holiday Tourney in
Madison Square Garden in 69-70. This was the last time that RPI played
in New York (well, the next day vs BC was). However, next December,
RPI will face UNH and hopefully not continue its fine record in "The
Big Apple".
Needless to say, the Cornell-RPI game at MSG does not rank up there with
the greatest ever played. (About on par with a 16-1 debacle against
Clarkson in 1966.)
