Forgive the posting of the box to this list instead of info...I'm _really_
tired right now and typed the wrong alias.

Anyway, it was a really good game tonight, fast paced at both ends of the
ice. Shots on goal for the game were close, with North Dakota beating CC
only 43-39. Not too many penalties tonight, and only one set of
coincitentals for roughing.

The game remained scoreless until late in the first period, when Jason
Ulmer streaked through the Tiger zone and scored unassisted to give North
Dakota the lead. Less than 2 minutes later Matt Henderson doubled that
lead, and CC went to the locker room after 1 period with a 2-0 deficit.

The Tigers came alive in the second, with Jon Austin scoring his first of
the season only 50 seconds into the period. CC tied it about 6 minutes
later on a goal by T.J. Tanberg, but the tie was short-lived. 17 seconds
later David Hoogsteen regained the lead for the Sioux, leaving goaltender
Jason Cugnet flat on his stomach.

CC tied it up again at 3 about 7 minutes into the third period. North
Dakota took their time out 2 minutes later, and then promptly handed CC a
power play about 30 seconds after that. Both teams were ineffective on the
power play, however, with CC 0 of 5 and North Dakota 0 of 4. Both teams
had some great chances to score, but goaltending was outstanding from both
Cugnet and Karl Goehring for North Dakota, and the game headed into
overtime.

Not many shots on goal in the overtime period, with CC getting only 1 and
North Dakota getting 3. The play was a bit rough at times, but as is
typical in overtime, nothing was called to give either team the advantage.

Same two teams tomorrow night....
