Ned Harkness coached the Red Wings for the first half of '70
when they promoted him to General Manager. He stayed as GM
for three years and then went to Union College. He coached
there for two years and then went to Glens Falls,where he was born,
to become the director of the Glens Falls Civic Center and established
the Adirondack Red Wings, an AHL team, there. He is also the
President and Chief Executive Officer of the Olympic Regional
Development Authority in Lake Placid and then became the Chairman
of the Board of the Capital District Islanders before this season
began.
Mac
