In response to Billy Lustgarten's announcement of McCutcheon's becoming
coach of the Columbus Chill, I'd just like to point out that this morning's
Ithaca Journal, Ithaca's local fountain of misinformation, has an entry in
its transactions to the effect that McCutcheon will become the head coach
of the Los Angeles Ice Dogs in the IHL.
 
This weekend is Cornell's hockey alumni weekend. Friday night there's an
alumni game at Lynah, featuring Mike Schafer and his 1986 ECAC champion
teammates against the rest of the returning alumni, and Saturday there's a
golf tournament.
 
Anybody have a clue how to pronounce "Tymchyshyn"?
