To summarize briefly
 
1. Bob Pedrie was not renewed 2 weeks ago as UIC hockey coach
2. Bob Hallberg was fired Friday as UIC head basketball coach
3. Jimmy Collins has been made an offer as UIC head basketball coach
4. He wants a commitment made to the program on funding and practice space

7. Administrators may want one high profile sport instead of two mediocre

players
10. Players report other schools are already making inquiries to the them
