I can't reproduce AP articles, but there is an article about Travis' trip to
Albany to see Boston University play Saturday night. Here is part of that
article that the Globe allows anyone to pass on. The URL to connect to the
whole article follows. It's nice to see Travis getting out and on with his
life.

The following story appeared in The Globe Online on
   03/23/96:

   Paralyzed Player Returns to Rink

   By Associated Press

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - With a tip of his Boston University
cap and a smile on his face, Travis Roy returned to the
rink Saturday night to root on his teammates and only
   imagine what might have been.

``I'm back in the stands, just your average fan,'' said
Roy, who was paralyzed from the neck down only 11
seconds into his first shift in a game for BU last
October. ``But I'm not your rowdy fan. I don't have
enough breath to yell and scream.''

Just over a week after he spoke publicly for the first
time about the hockey accident that left him a
quadriplegic, Travis sat tall in his wheelchair and
   bared his feelings.
