Don't *even* go there. I'm sporting some partially torn ligaments and a bad
back from playing the game of "badminton."
Women play no-check. This does not mean no-body-contact.
Hockey gods forgive me for saying this, but squeak-ball doesn't have
checking, and damn if that isn't a physical game.
I love the good, hard checks as much as the next person and I don't think I
want the game to change; but I can imagine the finesse game hockey would
become without them and it wouldn't be badminton.
