At 8:55 PST, CNN just reported that Sampras clinched the US Davis cup win
over Italy, I think, winning the third match in a best of five series.
Now having watched high school, tennis, amateur and pro tennis a lot, I
BELIEVE that that is it for that match. Over, done, they don't play
anymore. With 1.5 hours til THE GAME, I do not know what ESPN will do.
Will they play a tape of the tennis match?  Will they cut it?  Or... is it
possible this match happened yesterday and they are going to schedule
something else (like snake mud-wrestling :-)) before the big game?  Dunno,
but it looks like, maybe, they will NOT have to cut into the beginning of
the game? But with them, who the hell knows!
