From the Lansing State Journal write-up, Richard Shulminstra received 13 points
in the voting. Suprisingly, Blaine Lacher of Lake Superior St. only received
7 points (1 2nd team, 1 3rd team). Coaches were not allowed to vote for their
own players. CCHA player of the year, top offensive and defensive players will
be announced, as well as rookie of the year, at the CCHA Awards Banquet on
Thursday in Detroit.
