Portable UV is especially problematic since many of them do not actually have the ability to sterilize even if you do use them properly. And using them takes quite a bit of time and effort since you have to make sure you thoroughly cover each individual page for enough time to kill microbes. Sorry. I actually considered tis option as well but ultimately decided against it.

I have just come across the above portable UV sterilizer and wondered if anyone was already using this to sanitize books and other library stuff.
How well it worked? Would you recommend it or say don't bother? There is only one review, which wasn't very promising. I wondered if anyone else had experience with this device? I appreciate and thank you for sharing your collective knowledge with us. Terri
