I notice that after four losses against ECAC D-1 competition, Niagara is
not listed in the ratings. Merrimack and Boston University host the
Purple Eagles Friday and Saturday nights, respectively. Will Niagara
then have enough games under its belt to qualify?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but playing a team with nary enough games to
qualify for the RPI is not good news for the Terriers (not to mention
the Warriors), if BU wants to maintain its #1 ranking. BU plays
Princeton tomorrow night. The Tigers' strength of schedule ranks 40th
among the 45 teams. If I'm reading this correctly, it seems that even
though BU's opponents this week would appear to be lightly regarded,
winning them both is extremely important.
