The Bulldogs come back from yesterday's fiasco to take two points from
the Sioux in Grand Forks. Once again, UND opened the game playing into
the hand of UMD by not being able to use their transition game. Unlike
last night, all three periods, with the exception of a few spurts, saw
the Sioux unable to get their feet moving. Give UMD a lot of credit, as
their gameplan finally payed off. Two of the goals allowed by Goehring
for UND seemed very soft (although he may have been screened) while
Nicklin (sp?) came up big in the third period stopping 18 shots.
