Todays Wisconsin State Journal reported that long-time
UW assistant coach Mike Kemp got the head coaching job
at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He was given a
five-year contract that will pay him $75,000 anually at
the outset.
I'm glad he finally got a head coaching job. He's been
part of the UW staff since 1983 and has been trying for
a head coaching job since 1990.
Jeff Sauer said he will likely move up assistant coach
Pat Ford to the number two spot and begin looking for a
number three man.
