...so here it is...the completely UNofficial Hockey-L
Throwing Stuff On the Ice Poll! (UNHLTSOIP!)
OCHC: I got a UW Hockey tie tack from my mom for Christmas.
Does anyone know where I can return it? (Wait 'til next
year!) Give Jeff Sauer credit for what he's done, and look
forward to the future...if you've been a "real" cheesehead
for any amount of time, you suffered through the Packers
under Starr and Infante, and you know what pain and suffering
really is.
Please forward answers to the following questions to
[log in to unmask] by 12:00 noon EST on Sunday, 2/11/96.
Answers will be compiled and reported (hopefully) on
Monday, 2/12. Please note that there are only 2 acceptable
answers to each question: yes and no, except for question
number 7.
1. Do you think that it is ok to throw objects on to
the ice, at any time?
2. Do you think that it is ok to throw objects on to
the ice to celebrate a goal?
3. Do you think that it is ok to throw objects on to
the ice to express your displeasure with refs/coaches/
players?
4. Do you think that it is ok to throw objects on to
the ice in a prepared, ceremonial-type manner, with the
time, quantity, and type of object determined in advance?
5. Do you think it is ok for people to throw hats on to
the ice to celebrate a hat trick?
6. Have you ever thrown anything on to the ice at a hockey
game? (Note: this will not be used against you at any time)
7. What is the most ridiculous thing that you have seen
thrown on the ice at a game? (please keep your answer
short)
HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to
[log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
