OK, I'll get the puck rolling on this one. As I recall, Jeremy mentioned that
his girlfriend would be sitting in the Clarkson section and would be the only
one wearing a St. Lawrence shirt. Well, I saw her during the championship
game, and she wasn't sitting near ANYBODY. She also kept moving to different
seats. Hmmm....
I'll add one more award, which is Biggest Player Blunder of the Weekend:
Stephane Gauvin, Cornell, for continuing to chase a loose puck after
he lost his helmet. This resulted in a delay-of-game penalty when the
Big Red was already a man down, and contributed mightily to St. Law-
rence's first goal in their semifinal game. Hopefully, Gauvin was
watching the Hockey East final, in which a BU player lost HIS helmet
and beat a hasty retreat to the bench to pick up another one.
About those nicknames -- don't you guys have WORK to do?? "Gesundheit"
Tkachuk? "Puff the Magic" Dragon? "Raise your hand if you're" Schure?!?
Oh, my aching stomach. :-)
