tourney mvp: Chris O'Sullivan, BU
all-tourney team: F: O'Sullivan, BU; Ryan Kraft & Brian Bonin, Minn. D: Rich
Brennan, BU; Dan Trebil, Minn. G: Brian Renfrew, Western Michigan

Championship featured solid effort at both ends of ice from both BU and Minn.
Minn's first goal (Fiebelkorn) knocked in by BU defender. Game-winner came on
3-on-1 with Ken Rausch feeding Chris Drury as they entered Minn zone, Drury
feeding Rausch back, and he flipped in game-winner. Herlofsky with a decent
performance in first game back from cut on leg. Best goalie of tourney
easily Western Michigan's Brian Renfrew. Minn's Brian Bonin and Ryan Kraft
worked very well together. BU's Shane Johnson returned from injury suffered
in Great Western Freezeout.

Paid attendance: day 1 - 9445; day 2 9387. uninformed guess that between
1000-1500 no shows each day for Minn games. Non-Minn games (4pm local start)
sparsely attended both days.
