As a relative newcomer to the Hockey List I must say I am a bit surprised
by the volume of number crunching that goes on here. I thought all the
stat freaks were in baseball and locked in a room somewhere with Bill
James and the SABR types.

I am wondering how many of you who are into number crunching with hockey
also play with baseball stats?

It is all very interesting but I must admit I have a better understanding
of relativity theory that most of the statistical rating analysis put out on
the list.
